At Basin Dental Suite, we're excited to offer three excellent denture options: Partial dentures, complete dentures, and implant-supported dentures. Dr. Esho will discuss your options and help you determine the best solution for your smile.
Complete Dentures: Full dentures replace a complete arch of missing teeth using incredibly lifelike prosthetic teeth. At Basin Dental Suite, we offer conventional and immediate dentures in metal bases or acrylic tissue-colored bases that mimic the appearance of your gum tissues.
- Conventional Dentures: In some cases, we need to remove any remaining teeth before placing your dentures. During the healing period, your jawbone and gums will change in shape. Conventional dentures are created after the healing is complete to ensure the best fit, comfort, and function.
- Immediate Dentures: Immediate dentures are created ahead of time and are positioned in your mouth right after removing any remaining teeth. They are great temporary solutions, so you don't go without teeth a single day. If, however, you opt to use your immediate dentures as a permanent solution, we’ll need to reline them and adjust them down the road to accommodate the changes that take place in your mouth during healing.
Partial Dentures: Partials are tooth replacements used when some natural teeth remain. They consist of artificial teeth secured to gum-colored bases that attach to your remaining teeth using metal frameworks and clasps or precision attachments. In some cases, we may recommend placing dental crowns on your natural teeth to improve the fit of your restorations. Removable partial dentures offer an affordable solution to enhance your oral health and deliver a beautiful, functional smile.
Implant-Supported Dentures: Implants are the best available tooth restoration options. They mimic the function of natural tooth roots, preventing bone loss in the area. Implant-supported dentures are the closest you'll ever get to having natural, healthy teeth!
Implant-supported dentures are either complete or partial. They are secured to dental implants placed strategically in your jawbone, providing unmatched comfort, stability, and durability. Your restorations will never slip or shift and will allow you to speak with clarity and eat your favorite foods without restrictions. With proper care, implant-supported dentures can potentially last a lifetime!
